I’ve been shooting for as long as I can remember. My first camera was a Kodak Brownie way back in the 1970’s. The highlight for me was a short stint at the Halifax Daily News as a photojournalist. It was a great opportunity.

Travel

Las Vegas 2013

We planned this trip as more of a break than a destination. Just wanted to get away for a few days and enjoy ourselves. As far as that goes Vegas was perfect.

As usual we booked everything ourselves. Flew Air Canada and stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel. The Hard Rock was fantastic and I’d recommend it to anyone. Great staff, nice rooms, delicious food, and probably the best Old Fashions I ever drank.

Ireland 2011

We took a trip to Ireland in June 2011 and wished we could have stayed longer. It was the perfect trip. Lots of driving, sightseeing, delicious food, and friendly people. Ireland is truly a treasure.

Africa 2009

We traveled to Africa the day I retired from the Navy. It was quite a trip and a great way to transition to my new life. Africa was fantastic! I’ve wanted to travel there my whole life and to get the chance to do it ourselves and see so much was an incredible experience.
