This trip has been good for us. We work great as a team and it’s been a long time since we had the opportunity. I missed how good it feels to plan a big trip with Krista and here we are, in the midst of the biggest trip of our lives.
We left Aaron Provincial Park and headed west into Manitoba last week. Now we’re just north of Regina, Saskatchewan, at a BnB with the most incredible view of the prairie sky and open countryside. Neither of us is used to a view like this so we’re taking it in while we’re here. The sunset last night was glorious and I’m looking forward to the one tonight.
Tomorrow we head southwest into the Grasslands for a few days camping then on into Alberta and finally the Rockies. We’ve been watching for forest fire alerts and paying close attention to the heatwaves. So far the weather has been good to us but we still keep our fingers crossed.
