Early Morning Traffic Fatality
A Panama City Beach woman died early today on Back Beach Road at Beth Street near the entrance to Colony Club. 21 year old Alberta “Ali” Christian Knorr was killed when her car drifted off the pavement. She over-corrected, came back onto the pavement and rolled over several times. Beach police say Ms. Knorr died at the scene of the 2:30 am crash. She was not wearing a seat belt and was the only person in the vehicle. No other cars were involved.
The Beach Police specialized collision investigation team is handling the probe into the crash.
When I lived in Florida I had the opportunity to work with Ali and it was the first experience I had photographing a model. I remember her as a wonderful person and as someone with a real spark for life. This is a terrible loss.
