Africville Update

The past week has been a great experience. We started off filming speakers during the Africville Meet and Greet and ended today (for me at least) filming poets and kids launching an replica Africville fishing boat. Some learning curves included ways to get around background noise, especially from generators, lighting without power, and interview techniques (very difficult in uncontrolled situations). I have about six hours of tape for Mark Carvery including some 'B' Roll.
